Given the present state of our economy, these try times for many Americans. Currently, one out of every seven persons in America lives at or under the poverty level. Couple that with unemployment hovering around ten p.c, truly increased in some parts of the country, it should not be hard to imagine that life for some people will be overwhelming at times. As I pen this post, I can think of three people who are close to me that now find themselves in extraordinarily grave situations.

God by no means meant for us to carry all of life’s burdens. Hence, the psalmist wrote, “When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that's greater than I” (Psalm 61:2, KJV). After all, the rock that the psalmist refers to is the Lord Himself. One of the biggest classes we will learn in life is easy methods to forged our cares upon the Lord. Many individuals have not learned or even tried to learn this truth. The alternative shouldn't be a good plan for our life. For every time we try and bear the masses that are reserved for God’s shoulders, life will overwhelm us. So let God have them.
